Book A Local Trade is an East Yorkshire based, family run Building Trade and Property Service booking business.

Our story starts like many others; annoyed with the way other, well known trade booking companies dealt with local tradespeople like us, and being on the bad end of a cowboy builders as customers. We decided things could be much better so we did it ourselves.

3 years ago, after receiving a medical diagnosis, I hung up my tools early at age 39. I had a book full of local tradespeople who we had worked with over the years, a 5 star google rating and countless customers returning needing works done locally.

We charge nothing to tradespeople and nothing to customers to book or become one of our trusted tradespeople. We know all of our tradespeople personally, meeting every one and checking past reviews, social media and recent customers. We provide links to fully trained, skilled, local people charging local rates.
